Ok woefully late comment, but just stumbled on this. Re 14:32, you missed the point. Sir Dr Bri said "we all could have back to DIFFERENT kind of jobs." Never said they had to work, but do folks that rise to the top & work as hard as they did just find a lounge chair and rest on their laurels? ** They've all talked about how they just accepted their arena rock band days were over. Bri was already working on becoming Dr. by finishing up his PhD. He very likely would have stayed more into that (as he still is btw). He and Roger just thought this part of their lives were over, that there may be situations here and there, but no more massive Queen shows. That was his point. He & John wanted to continue living their lives, not just spending money & killing time. Ok going back to watching. Hadn't seen this doc in a few years and was good excuse to rewatch! **This reminded me of a Roger Taylor interview, from a few years ago. He was asked some version about retiring which he scoffed off. And then someone asked something about Deaky, and he very briefly strayed from the sanitized repetitive PR line, and said "I don't know what he does all day, count his money." It was far more in the watching than my retelling. He looked confused at just wanting to live on money & from the other things said he made it clear how much more fun it was being out there and still making music!!! It explained so much, let the curtain slip a bit on real feelings, but only solidified it's not just about money. They have plenty. (They have also invested more than any band alive on restoring their video & audio tracks & having them top current quality) They want to do what they love!

When I don’t understand something, I will usually ask “how? what? why?” I ask these questions to either learn or to understand. I realized, yrs ago, that UA-camrs don’t care about answering my questions. I used to ask serious question…about why an animal would do something, etc. But since I don’t get any answers I decided to ask not-so-serious questions. Either to be silly (no one is going to answer it anyway), or because I am so frustrated with a UA-camr doing something that proves he/she is lying about something or because he/she is disrespecting the subject (for no reason) or worse, disrespecting me as a potential subscriber. You aren’t the only one to do this, but you are the latest one so you get the question - that you won’t answer anyway. You/we are watching this 2-part documentary together, right? It’s disrespectful to me:/other viewers who are trying to watch the video too. 2. It’s disrespectful to Freddie Mercury, Roger Taylor, Adam Lambert, and all the behind the scenes people who worked on this project. I’ve had a celebrity crush on Roger since the 80’s - at the his peak of his “Holy 💩…😱…He’s Freakin Hot” days. I had to accept that I’m probably not going to marry him someday 🤣🤣. I’ve been waiting since I was a teenager. I’m now 59. I’m starting to believe it’s not going to happen 💔😂 Seriously, the thing I love the most about him is his candor. I’ve noticed in interviews, with Brian, if they are asked a question -Example - ONLY an example…if they were asked how they felt about how taxes. Even if they both were extremely angry about the subject, Brian almost always has a diplomatic answer. But if Roger can avoid answering because he will give his honest feelings about the subject in his candid way, he will. I’ve seen him do it over and over. But if he can’t avoid giving his honest feelings, and they aren’t positive, be ready for some saucy language. I abstain love that he’s true to himself.

if your only exposure to ska is the 90's (otherwise known as 3rd wave) please look into the adjacent material before you write off a genre. Desmond dekkar and the aces are a great place to start. my favorite subgenre/era was 2nd wave. headlined by a Label from Coventry called 2-tone.

She also sings quite well but doesn’t do much of it. There was a contestant that had a serious attitude problem and Kara decided to give her a comeuppance. The contestant, Katrina Darrell (Bikini Girl), came out in a bikini to sing her song. She was quite stunned when Kara came out on stage in her own bikini. The two ended up in something of a sing-off. Kara sang circles around that ego inflated brat. Katie Holmes is the girl in the audience whose name escaped you. I believe she’s holding her daughter, Suri (father is Tom Cruise).

American Idol is a business, don’t get it twisted. I believe that Adam actually won but it was better for Kris Allen to take the title. Do you remember the uproar from the public, the media, social media, talk shows and even comedians? People were talking! Heck, we’re still talking about it! They couldn’t buy that kind of stir. Adam came out way ahead by being free to shop record deals as well as to front Queen. The AI contract sucks and you don’t really get any money for winning because it all gets eaten up in fees, expenses. BTW, who was named the winner? Oh yeah, Kris Allen…where is he…what’s he doing?
